The Blue Crane Route Municipality invites you to take a drive along the R63. Take the turn-off to Somerset East, especially during the middle of July…because from the 13 – 14 July 2012, you will be able to not only taste biltong, but experience the Karoo lifestyle, lively South African entertainment and true hospitality, while roaming the Somerset East Showgrounds, at the Castle Lager East Cape Biltong Festival.

Now in its 22nd year, the Biltong Festival promises, yet again, to be ‘lip-smackingly’ good with traditional South African fare, biltong, hundreds of interesting stalls for the shopping enthusiasts, and 20 of South Africa’s most popular entertainers.
