Guestaurant – Discover Foodie Experiences Around You!

 

When we began in 2010 we needed a term to encapsulate all the clients we wanted to help promote. We created the word ‘guestaurant’. These are usually known as supper clubs, underground restaurants, home bistros, home eateries, guerrilla dinners, secret restaurant, paladares, speak easy, anti-restaurant, as well as tastings and other larger events like food and drink festivals.
A guestaurant is a dinner party or any other food-related event held in a special venue where paying guests turn up. The venue could be the chef’s living room, the kitchen of a cooking school, a gallery, a park or wherever you can gather people for a food experience!

Guestaurant was started by an international diverse group of friends who are contributing to the movements in the global food scene. The Guestaurant food and drink experience platform, showcases both offline and online events allowing people to connect with others over food and drink.  This can be an event where everyone is attending in one physical space, or it can be an event put on by our branded Guestaurant Foodie Sessions online on google+ or Livestream.  We report on events which are coming up, and capture the stories of ones that have passed. We also cover industry related stories and showcase unique products. Collaboratively, the Guestaurant community connects people who love cooking or producing with sociable people who enjoy eating.

 

Guestaurant.com is an fantastic outlet for both aspiring and established chefs, as well as skilled event hosts. Guestaurant hosts are people who are passionate about food and sharing, and want to show off their creativity and knowledge.
