A New Year begins with body, mind, and food – Nikki Healing Kitchen

We at Guestaurant were invited to visit a great collaboration with Nikki Healing Kitchen and Sweatshop Yoga.

If you love yoga, this gorgeous loft studio and the instructor Kim will make you feel welcomed.

Nikki gave great tips on how to cut onions but the best part is:  did you know onions are fantastic anti-inflammatory?

Nikki preparing her Pico de Galla which included apples. Another piece of information, apples contains pectin which helps the body get rid of bad toxin in your liver.

These are my 3 friends from uni which I convinced to wake up at 8am on a Saturday morning  to travel from Uxbridge all the way to Hackney Wick to enjoy this event with me.  After 2 hours of walking, tubing, taking the overground and getting lost, it was a fun and well deserved yoga and detox event . Chef Nikki from New York gave us the opportunity to learn more about the food we eat everyday and find fun and creative ways of preparing it! Thank you chef Nikki!

This is my first blog with photo blog with Guestaurant.  Hope you guys liked it.
